I’m a team lead for a software development company. We all started working from home after the pandemic, but I still have frequent video calls to get feedback and direction from clients. It’s always been important for me to keep myself looking professional. So for the first few months, my wife was helping me cut my hair. But, I was just never super happy with how it looked. When things slowly started opening back up in my area, I was quick to start seeing my usual barber again.

But there was one week where I finally had to try something different. Our team was up against an incredibly tight deadline, and I also had several important Zoom calls scheduled near the end. It was so busy that even though my regular barber could fit me in for a quick men’s haircut, I genuinely didn’t know if I had time to drive to their barbershop and wait for my appointment. Even trying another barbershop near me wasn’t going to be much more convenient.

I wasn’t even sure if this was a thing. Then, I decided to Google “traveling barbers” and was surprised to find Indulge Now. I found someone available for a house call that evening and decided to give it a shot. The freelance barber arrived right on time and was super friendly and professional. We set up a chair for an outdoor haircut, and they were trimming away in a matter of minutes. The end result looked just as good as my regular barber, if not slightly better. Needless to say, I was very impressed with the whole process!

Even though things are pretty much back to normal where I live, I’m still using my traveling barber from Indulge Now. Working from home showed me how much of our time we gave up to our old routines, between commuting and waiting for appointments.  I never thought of getting a simple men’s haircut as one of those things until I started adding up how much time I spent driving there on my lunch break and waiting for my old barber to finish up the person before me. Plus, I like the convenience of getting an in-home service. I could get a trim whenever I wanted instead of putting it off until I was looking super shaggy. I think that Indulge Now has been a game-changer for me;  I’m glad that Indulge Now helped me find my new favorite barber!
